This beautiful Black and White House, in Goodwood Hill, built in the early twentieth century, is a legacy of British Rule in Singapore. This house was built for the Malayan Civil Service Officers, who were responsible for the public works. The architecture, though renovated was originally a 'fusion of Tudor, Malay and Indian influences'. These houses are well sought after as residences as it gives a glimpse of the lifestyles of the occupants from days of yore.
